Joshikai is a networking group for Japanese women and women with a connection to Japan. On Thursday, September 13th, we'll meet for an evening of networking, girl talk and happy hour drinks and food at Pa’ina Lounge and Restaurant, a new Hawaiian restaurant in Japantown. Pa’ina has great happy hour food and cocktails, including garlic fries, gyoza, kalua pig cheese fries and oysters for $5 and draft beers ($4), well drinks ($5) and wine ($6).

We’ll mingle, chat and share stories with other women in English and Japanese. Any skill level of Japanese and English is welcome, and this will be a great opportunity to practice your language skills and connect with women who have similar interests. May Joshikai Happy Hour at Minx

Joshikai is a networking group for Japanese women and women with a connection to Japan. On Thursday, May 10, we'll meet for an evening of networking, girl talk and happy hour specials at Minx in Lower Nob Hill. Their comfy couch area will be reserved for us, and we can gather to chat and share stories with other women in English and Japanese. Any skill level of Japanese and English is welcome, and this will be a great opportunity to practice your language skills and connect with women who have similar interests. 

Minx offers a variety of happy hour specials until 8 p.m. Cocktail specials ($5) include the Raspberry Ricki (raspberry vodka and 7 Up) and the Creamsicle (vanilla vodka, Triple Sec and orange juice). You can also try slushies ($8) like the Bellini and Peach Pie. Beer is only $2!
Please note that Minx does not accept credit cards. It is cash only (but they do have an ATM machine). Also, they don't sell food, but they don't mind if you bring your own. They do check IDs, so please don't forget!
